The Moon

The Moon speaks of the space between knowing and not knowing, where certainty dissolves into shadow. In this state, what you perceive and what truly exists may not be the same. Your feelings are real—anxiety, unease, a sense of something withheld—yet they arise from incomplete sight. The wisdom here is not to dismiss your intuition, but to recognize it as response to genuine ambiguity rather than proof of what lies ahead. In such times, the most honest path is to acknowledge what remains unclear, to sit with the questions rather than rush toward answers that may be false comfort.

When the card turns and the mist begins to lift, the same energies transform. Truth does not arrive as sudden revelation but as gradual emergence. What was hidden shows itself not because it has changed, but because you have moved into better light. The anxiety does not vanish instantly; rather, it settles as understanding takes its place. Upright and reversed are not opposites so much as different moments in the same unfolding—one where obscurity holds sway, the other where clarity gradually returns.

Hold in mind that the Moon's presence, in either direction, calls you toward patience and gentleness with yourself. What cannot yet be seen need not be forced into view. What begins to clear need not be rushed. The invitation is to trust the rhythm of revelation, to know that both shadow and illumination have their season.
