ORTFENE ("we") operates ORTFENE (the "Service") at https://ortfene.com/. This policy explains what information the Service handles and why.
1. Information we handle
Device identifier. To save your reading history and to make sure "Today's Card" is drawn only once a day, the Service stores a randomly generated identifier (device_uuid) in a cookie on your browser. It is not linked to your name, email address or any other personal detail, and we cannot identify you from it.
Reading records. The cards you draw, the fortune you chose, the question you type (if any) and the resulting text are stored against that identifier.
Access logs. Our server records standard access information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
We do not ask for, and do not collect, your name, address, telephone number or email address.
2. How we use it
To show your readings and history, to prevent duplicate daily draws, to keep the Service secure, and to understand how the Service is used so that we can improve it.
3. Access analysis (Google Analytics)
The Service uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how the Service is used. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify you.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For how Google handles data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
4. Advertising
The Service may use third-party advertising services, including Google and its partners. These third parties may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites. You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
We do not control the cookies set by these third parties, and their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Use of an external AI service
When you request a detailed reading, the Service sends the drawn cards, their meanings and the question you typed to an external AI provider (Anthropic PBC) in order to generate the reading text. Your device identifier, IP address and access logs are not sent.
Because the text you type is transmitted to that provider, please do not enter information that identifies you or another person, or any confidential information.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell or disclose the information we hold to third parties, except where required by law, or to the extent described in sections 3 to 5 above.
7. Retention and deletion
Reading records are kept so long as the Service operates. Clearing your browser's cookies makes the history on that device unreachable. If you want your records deleted, contact us at the address below.
8. Cookies you can refuse
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, reading history and "Today's Card" will no longer work correctly.
